PVC Stacking Doors
GEAJIE PVC stacking doors for warehouse and factory openings. Review folding curtains, controls, wind requirements and installation space before ordering.
Upward-Folding PVC Doors for Industrial Openings
GEAJIE PVC stacking doors use a reinforced flexible curtain that folds upwards as the door opens. They are also described as fabric stacking doors, fold-up doors or fast pack doors. The curtain, horizontal reinforcement, lifting mechanism and guides are selected together for the opening size and working environment.
Construction and Controls
- Flexible curtain: PVC fabric with the selected reinforcement arrangement and finish.
- Supporting frame: galvanized steel frame and guides with the required surface treatment and fixing design.
- Drive: motor and lifting system matched to door weight, travel and daily cycles.
- Controls: push-button control with emergency stop; review sensor activation and position-control options for the selected configuration.
- Sealing: side brush seals and a bottom sealing arrangement help reduce air movement when the door is closed.
Typical Applications
Consider a stacking door for warehouse and distribution-center access, manufacturing buildings and larger industrial openings. Check the traffic clearance and available curtain-stacking space above the opening. Outdoor installations also need an agreed wind-load specification and suitable supporting structure.
A fabric stacking door is different from a rigid metal high speed door. A single-layer PVC curtain should not be described as equivalent to an insulated sectional door or assumed suitable for a freezer.
Choose the Correct Flexible Door
| Door type | Key distinction |
|---|---|
| PVC roll-up door | The curtain rolls around an overhead barrel. Review the selected model for traffic, reset and temperature requirements. |
| PVC stacking door | The reinforced curtain folds upward. Confirm stacking height, lifting arrangement and wind requirements. |
| Double-layer flexible lift door | A separate configuration for larger openings. Do not assume the same dimensions, operating speed or structure as a fast single-layer stacking door. |
See the GEAJIE PVC door series for the GFR and GFP product families. Maximum sizes and performance must be confirmed against the actual model and installation drawing.
Installation and Safety Review
Provide opening width and height, side room, headroom, wall or steel-frame details, indoor or outdoor location, daily cycles and power supply. Include wind exposure, traffic type and any special temperature or hygiene requirements.
Agree the obstacle-detection arrangement, emergency stop, manual recovery procedure and access for maintenance. Keep personnel and vehicles clear while the door moves. Inspect lifting straps or other lifting components, guides and curtain reinforcement according to the supplied instructions.
Frequently Asked Questions
How fast does the door operate?
Opening and closing speeds depend on size, reinforcement and drive. Ask for the quoted model's speed rather than using a generic value for every folding door.
Can it be used in exposed outdoor locations?
Only with a configuration reviewed for the required wind conditions. Specify wind pressure and door dimensions; broad wind-level claims alone are not an installation design.
Can I use it as a cold-storage barrier?
Discuss the operating temperature and insulation requirement first. A standard PVC stacking curtain is not automatically a freezer door.
