Mechanical Dock Levelers to Mexico: Repeat Order | GEAJIE
See how a Mexican buyer evaluated GEAJIE through a live factory tour and third-party inspection, then placed a repeat order for mechanical dock levelers.

From a Video Factory Tour to a Repeat Order: A Mexican Dock Leveler Customer’s Story
We still haven’t met this customer in person. But his second order for mechanical dock levelers is already confirmed—with twice the quantity of his first.
For buyers sourcing loading dock equipment overseas, visiting every potential supplier isn’t always practical. This project shows how a customer referral, a live factory video tour and independent product inspection helped one Mexican buyer move forward with GEAJIE.
A Customer Referral Started the Conversation
The customer was visiting Guangzhou during the Canton Fair and had arranged meetings with several suppliers. He was looking for mechanical dock levelers for projects in Mexico.
An existing customer introduced us, and his first message included a straightforward question:
“Who gave you my contact details?”
A reasonable place to start. Before discussing equipment, he wanted to understand the introduction.
Once that was clear, we discussed his requirements and where our factory was located.
He asked whether we were nearby.
If a two-hour flight followed by a drive counts as nearby, we were practically next door.
His schedule, however, had a more realistic definition of “nearby.”

Bringing the Dock Leveler Factory to His Phone
With several meetings already planned in Guangzhou, he couldn’t fit in a factory visit.
So we suggested a live video call.
Instead of asking him to travel, Ivy went into the workshop and showed him our production site and equipment. The call gave him an opportunity to ask questions while seeing the factory in real time.
The phone became the tour bus. The workshop became the meeting room.
We discussed the mechanical dock levelers, reviewed configurations and worked through the order details. After returning to Mexico, he placed his first order.
Independent Inspection Before Balance Payment
A video tour helped start the relationship, but the buyer also wanted an independent check of the finished equipment.
Before paying the balance, he appointed a third-party inspection company to visit our factory.
The inspection included:
- Product testing
- Dimension checks
- Video recording of equipment operation
First, we showed him the factory through a phone. Then, his appointed inspectors examined the products with their tools.
After receiving the inspection report, the customer paid the balance. We then arranged container loading and shipment.
The loading photos accompanying this article show that first shipment of mechanical dock levelers to Mexico.
The Second Order: Twice the Quantity
Around the time of the first shipment, the customer told us he hoped this would be the beginning of a long business relationship.
That was encouraging. The next order made it more meaningful.
Following the first delivery, he placed a second order with twice the original quantity. The new order has been confirmed, and the deposit has been received.
We still haven’t met in person. Our first shipment has done a good job of introducing us.
Evaluating a Dock Leveler Manufacturer in China?
This customer used several steps to evaluate GEAJIE: a referral, direct discussions, a live factory tour and independently arranged inspection before balance payment.
If you are sourcing mechanical or hydraulic dock levelers, we welcome the opportunity to discuss your project and show you our factory through a live video call.
Send us your required dimensions, load capacity, quantity and installation details. Let us know what you would like to see during the tour, so we can prepare a useful demonstration.
Our tour bus still fits in one hand—and the phone is charged.
